Thirty chairs with fold-out desks, set in rows all the way to the back wall, and nearly every one of them taken.

This was a full-day AI training session for a group of AIA advisors in Petaling Jaya, running from nine to five on a Wednesday.

A room that full could easily have turned into a lecture. Instead, laptops and tablets stayed open on the little desks, and people followed along on their own screens. When a question went out to the room, hands went up from the middle rows and the back, not just the front.

At the end of the day, the whole room squeezed in around a pair of red sofas for one last photo.
