Two Groups, Two Languages, Five Projects Built With AI
Finishing one of our programs comes with one requirement: stand up and show something you built. On 24 September, learners from two groups did exactly that, in two languages, on one Zoom call.
Group 28 had just completed the Claude AI Program in English. Group 27 took the AI Innovator Program in Mandarin. Each presenter had five to ten minutes to show what their project does, then how they made it.
From the English Group
The first presenter looks after education planning for her Toastmasters club. She gave Claude her club’s details and got back a full year’s meeting plan, social media content and poster ideas. Our feedback: move the details she repeats every time into the project instructions, so each future request can be one line.
The second, a marketing director, used Claude Cowork to turn a spreadsheet of sales figures into a revenue summary with charts, and has also set up a daily email brief that runs on a schedule.
The third, a Toastmasters leader, looks after four clubs and wanted to stay in touch every week without the manual work. She built a Claude skill for a weekly leadership message, connected it to Canva for the graphic, and scheduled it to run each morning. She reviews it, then sends it out.
From the Mandarin Group
One presenter built a Gemini Gem that produces achievement posters with the company logo already in place, on the free plan, instead of paying for stock image sites.
The last project drew the biggest reaction: a typing game for primary school children, built in Google AI Studio, playable by keyboard or touchpad. Someone in the chat said it was ready to sell.
