One Day in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah: Four Modules, One App Each

On Friday, 21 August 2026 we ran the AI Builder Programme in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, a full day from nine until five. It was organised together with G&A Group, a Sabah accounting and consulting group, and held at GA Space, their co-working space in Hilltop, Lintas. Koh Li Hong led the day.

Four modules, and each one ends with something that exists. Master AI Chat and Research covers the RCTF prompting framework, fact-checking what comes back, the STAMPX formula for image prompts, and turning deep research into a NotebookLM audio brief and then into slides. Your AI Assistant is ChatGPT Projects, a customised ChatGPT, and Gemini Gems. Wow with Chatbot is planning one, training it on your own material and publishing it to a website, with no code. Build and Showcase Your AI App turns an idea into a product requirement document, the document into a working app, and the app into something other people can open.

Then the last half hour is a demo showcase, which is the part that makes the rest of it stick. Presenting what you made to a room of people who spent the same day building something different is a better test than any quiz.

Around twenty-five people came through, a mix of business owners, professionals and teams sent along by their employers.

We run the AI Builder Programme in Sabah and elsewhere. For dates, see the events page.
