Inno Day #2: Voice Assistants, Study Tools and Google Apps

Inno Day #2 ran on Sunday, 5 October 2025, carrying on what the first one started: non-technical people learning AI by building rather than watching.

Three talks opened the afternoon. Yee Peng presented a Voice Transcribing Assistant. Li Hong followed with Study and Learn with AI. Ricky Soo closed with Make Apps with Google.

Then the room got to work, and the range of what came out of it is the part worth recording. An AI assistant for nutrition. Another for movie recommendations. A speechwriting tool. A full website for an accounting agency.

Look at that spread and you can see why the format holds. Four people given the same three hours and the same tools produced four things with nothing in common, because each was solving a problem only they had. Nobody needs a general-purpose assistant. Everybody has one specific annoyance they would pay to remove.

Guided practice first, then participant presentations. Same shape as always, and it keeps earning its place.
