What has changed is that the tools now accept plain language as an instruction. You describe what you want and adjust what comes back. The barrier was never the thinking, it was the syntax, and the syntax is optional now.

The results follow the person rather than the industry. A marketer builds something that writes to their customers properly. A researcher builds something that reads faster than they can. A shop owner builds something that answers the phone.

None of them will call themselves technical afterwards, and none of them need to.
