Practising a Talk With AI
Ask a room who enjoys public speaking and a few hands go up. Ask who has rehearsed a talk properly and the number drops sharply.
The gap is usually practical. Rehearsing alone tells you nothing, and finding someone patient enough to hear the same talk four times is a big ask.
AI tools fill that gap reasonably well. Give ChatGPT or Claude your script or your recording and you get feedback on the things that are easy to miss from inside your own head: where the structure loses the thread, which point arrives without setup, where the language is doing less than you think, and where a story would land better than an explanation.
None of that replaces a good mentor, and we would not pretend otherwise. What it replaces is the rehearsal that never happened because there was nobody to rehearse with.
The confidence people describe afterwards comes from the same place it always did. Not from technique, but from having heard the talk enough times to know it holds.
Presentation skills are covered in the first module of the AI Innovator Program.
