Johor Bahru, the Southernmost Stop

Johor Bahru is the furthest south this year’s sessions with AIA have gone. We spent the full day here on 3 September, nine to five, after stops in Kuala Lumpur, Klang, Ipoh and Kuantan.

The room was full. Every table was taken, and a few people spent the morning standing along the back wall. One side of the room is all windows with the city behind them, which nobody had much time to look at.

What travels between cities is the format, not the script. The questions change every time, because what advisors want to ask about is their own clients, and those are not the same in Johor Bahru as they are anywhere else.
