Inno Day #3: Learning AI by Actually Building Something

Inno Day #3 ran on Sunday, 18 January 2026, from 2:00 to 4:30 in the afternoon at Wesource Corporate Services in Seri Kembangan. Twenty-five seats, RM55 each.

The format was three short talks and then everyone builds. Koh Li Hong opened. Karen Lee showed My Calendar, My Way, a calendar app she had built with Google AI Studio. CP Lau followed with ChatGPT for BRIDGE, on using AI to practise giving appreciation using the BRIDGE model. Ricky Soo closed the talks with DIY Website with AI, building a website without writing code.

Then laptops opened for the build session, and the afternoon finished with participants presenting what they had made to the room.

What makes this format work is the second half. A talk on its own leaves you with notes. Two and a half hours is barely enough to build anything polished, but it is more than enough to get started, which is the step that matters most. Nearly everyone left with something running, however rough.
