E-Invoicing Does Not Have to Eat Your Week
E-invoicing arrives on every Malaysian business eventually, and for most owners the first reaction is the same: this is going to eat my week.
It does not have to. One owner we know automated roughly 80 percent of the work. Not the whole thing, and that is the honest number, but four fifths of a recurring chore is a real change to how a month feels.
Think about where the time actually goes. Re-typing the same customer details. Chasing a payment that was never properly recorded. Reconciling one system against another because neither talks to the other. Almost none of that needs a human brain, and all of it needs a human afternoon.
The important part is that this is not a big-company capability. A nasi lemak stall, a batik seller, a computer repair shop - the volume is smaller, but the repetition is identical, and repetition is exactly what these tools are good at.
You do not need to automate everything at once either. Pick the single step you dread most and start there.
Automation is one of the things we build together in the AI Innovator Program, using tools like Make.com and ChatGPT. No coding background needed.
