Landing Pages That Ask for One Thing
We spent a session on the difference between a website and a landing page, because the two get confused constantly and the confusion is expensive.
A website invites you to wander. A landing page wants one thing: sign up, buy, book, download. Everything on it either serves that one action or competes with it, and most pages are full of things quietly competing.
ChatGPT and DeepSeek turned out to be good at the structure. Describe the offer and who it is for, and you get a headline, the supporting points, the objections worth answering and a call to action, in the right order. Ask for the HTML and you get a working page rather than a document.
The judgement is still yours. AI will happily write persuasive copy for a muddled offer, and the page will still not convert, because the problem was never the words.
So the sequence we teach is: get clear on the single action first, then let the tools build around it.
Pages like these are covered hands-on in the AI Innovator Program, where you build one for your own offer.
