Inno Day #1: Eighteen People and Three Hours to Build Something

The first Inno Day ran on Sunday, 13 July 2025. Eighteen people packed Keep In Touch Co-Working Space for more than three hours of hands-on AI.

They built websites. They built AI agents. They experimented with Gemini and with automation tools, and they did it in the room rather than watching somebody else do it on a screen.

Starting a series is a particular kind of nervous. You have a format you believe in, no evidence it works, and eighteen people who have given up a Sunday afternoon on your say-so. What settled it within the first hour was how quickly people started talking across tables instead of only to the front of the room.

That turned out to be the thing worth keeping. Every Inno Day since has been built around it: short talks, then everyone opens a laptop, then everyone shows what they made. The talks changed, the venue changed, the tools changed a great deal. The shape has not.
