Three Participants, Three Apps, One Evening

The Google AI Program Showcase ran on 30 April 2026. Three participants presented the apps they built to complete the program, joined by a guest presenter and a live demo from the host.

An educator showed a bilingual risk and growth diagnostic, built to open conversations with business owners. A doctorate student demonstrated a financial ratio analyser that grades company health. A parenting consultant presented a family planning tool organised around a five pillar life framework.

The host closed by building live dashboards on the spot.

What stays with us about showcase nights is how specific the projects are. Nobody built a general purpose assistant. The educator built the thing she needed for the conversation she keeps having. The consultant built the framework she already uses, made usable by somebody else.

That specificity is the whole point. A tool built for everyone tends to be used by nobody. A tool built for one real problem you personally have gets opened on Monday.

Three people, three finished things, in an evening.

To finish a program with something of your own, the Google AI Program covers Gemini, NotebookLM and Google AI Studio, with no coding needed.
