Build Your Own App With Claude Code: 300 People Signed Up

This one ran online on Thursday, 23 July 2026, from 8:30 to 9:30, free to join, as part of National Training Week with DigitalAI Business Club.

Over 300 people registered and more than half of them were in the room on the night. For a free online session that is a good showing, and it says something about how many people have moved past asking what AI is and started asking how to make something with it.

The hour covered four things: the Claude ecosystem and what sits where in it, an introduction to Claude Code, building and refining a working web app live, and then publishing it so other people can use it. The worked example was Lemma, a vocabulary app.

That last step is the one that changes how people think. Plenty of tools will help you produce something on your own screen. Far fewer walk you all the way to a URL you can send to somebody else. The moment a person watches an app go from an empty folder to a link in about an hour, the question stops being whether they could build something and becomes what they should build.

Thanks to DigitalAI Business Club for the invitation. To go further with Claude, the Claude AI Program starts from the beginning, and more free sessions are on the events page.
