AICalc: Ask Money Questions in Plain English, Get Exact Answers

· by AICoach.my · 2 min read

Four AICalc screens side by side: the Simple calculator, an Ask chat answering a home loan question, the TVM loan worksheet and the Scientific keypad in the Neon look

Most of us have stared at a loan offer and wondered what the monthly payment really is. A financial calculator can tell you, if you know which buttons to press. Most people don’t.

That is why we built AICalc, a free calculator where you just ask.

Ask in Your Own Words

Type a question like “What will $500 a month grow to in 20 years at 6%?” or “Split $287.50 four ways, plus 10% service.” AICalc gives you the answer, and you can carry on with follow-ups such as “What if it’s 25 years?”

The important part is how it gets there. The AI only reads your question. A real calculator does the maths. So the answer is exact, not a guess. Every answer also shows the numbers it used, so if the AI misread something, you will spot it straight away. We still ask you to check before relying on an answer, and AICalc is a calculator, not financial advice.

Four Calculators in One

  • Ask: plain-English questions about money and maths, or about how to use AICalc itself.
  • Financial: loans, savings, bonds, depreciation, profit margin, dates and statistics, through simple forms or a classic financial keypad.
  • Scientific: powers, roots, logs, trigonometry and memory.
  • Simple: everyday sums with exact decimals, so 0.1 + 0.2 is exactly 0.3.

Everything except Ask works offline, and there are five looks to choose from (Classic, Ocean, Retro, Neon and Terminal), each in light or dark.

Free, and Your Numbers Stay With You

AICalc is free, with no sign-up and no ads. Use it in your browser on any device, including a Mac or phone, or download the Windows app. Your numbers, history and settings are saved only on your device. Just don’t type private details like account numbers into Ask.

Try it at aicalc.AICoach.my, or read more on the About AICalc page. It is also a small example of what we teach in our programs: let AI understand the question, and let the right tool do the work.
